Temp Mail Android App

Generate disposable addresses, get notified when an address you're watching receives mail, and keep emails on your phone — the same Temp Mail inbox, now on Android.

What You Get in the Temp Mail App

The Temp Mail app is a free Android app that does on your phone what this website does in a browser tab: generates a disposable email address in one tap, across the same set of domains, so you can sign up for something without handing over an address you actually read.

A few things only make sense on a phone, and the app has them. Add an address to your watchlist and the app checks it in the background, then sends a notification when new mail reaches it, so you aren't left refreshing a tab. Mail you receive is saved on your phone, so messages you've already opened stay readable without a connection — useful on a flight or anywhere coverage drops — and you can star the ones you want to keep. On the free plan you can watch up to 5 addresses at once and switch between them, which matters if you're testing more than one signup flow in the same afternoon.

The app is free and ad-supported, the same model as the website. Premium is optional and sold only as a subscription, monthly or yearly, through Google Play, where you can cancel it at any time. It switches off ads, unlocks every domain without spending coins, removes the limit on how many addresses you can watch, and gives you 20 forwarding addresses with the days included for as long as you stay subscribed. Nothing about the free generator itself is gated behind Premium.

Account-wise, the app and the website share the same idea of a temporary address and the same domain list, but they don't share state: an inbox you generate in the app isn't the same session as one you generate here in the browser. Treat each as its own throwaway address, not two windows onto the same one.

This page is deliberately plain about what's real: the features above are what the app does today. Anything still being built — like managing forwarding aliases from a linked browser — lives on its own page rather than being folded into this one as if it already shipped.

Why Use This Service?

Generate an Address Without Opening a Browser

One tap from your home screen gets you a fresh disposable address, across the same domains the website offers.

Notifications for Addresses You Watch

Put an address on your watchlist and you get a notification when new mail reaches it (checked in the background), instead of refreshing an inbox tab.

Offline Access to What You've Already Received

Messages you've already opened stay readable without a connection — handy mid-flight or anywhere signal is weak.

Watch Up to 5 Addresses at Once

Keep several temporary addresses on your watchlist and switch between them — five on the free plan, unlimited with Premium — useful when you're testing more than one signup.

Optional Premium, Never Required

A monthly or yearly subscription turns off ads, unlocks every domain without coins, lifts the watchlist limit and includes the days on 20 forwarding addresses; the free generator itself is never gated behind it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Temp Mail app free?

Yes. Generating and reading disposable addresses is free and supported by ads, the same as the website. Premium is an optional add-on, not a requirement to use the app.

What does Premium actually change?

It turns off ads, unlocks every domain without spending coins, lets you watch as many addresses as you like instead of 5, and gives you 20 forwarding addresses whose days are included while you stay subscribed. It's sold as a monthly or yearly subscription through Google Play, and you can cancel there at any time. It doesn't unlock the core address generator, which is already free.

Is there an iOS version?

Not currently — the app is Android only. The website itself works in any mobile browser on iOS if you just need a disposable address without installing anything.

Does the app work with the website version of Temp Mail?

They share the same idea of a disposable address and the same domains, but not the same session — an address you generate in the app is separate from one you generate in a browser. Watchlist notifications and mail saved on your phone are app-only; there's nothing to configure to keep them in sync, because they aren't meant to be the same inbox.

Can I forward a temp address from the app to my Gmail?

Forwarding is managed in the app: you confirm a destination address such as your Gmail, then create an alias that forwards to it. The website side, where a linked browser will manage those aliases at /forward, isn't live yet. See the Mail Forwarder page for the current status rather than assuming it from this page.

Why does the free app show ads?

Ads are what pay for running the service without charging for the basic generator. If you'd rather not see them, a monthly or yearly Premium subscription removes them, or you can spend 500 coins on a single ad-free day.
