At Temp-mail.lol, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our temporary email service.

Privacy-First Design

Our service is built with privacy as the foundation - we collect only what's necessary to provide the service.

Our service is designed to collect minimal information. We collect:

Temporary Email Addresses

Email addresses you generate through our service

Email Content

Emails received at those addresses

Basic Analytics

Anonymous page views and service usage patterns

Mail forwarding: A temporary inbox needs no personal data. Mail forwarding does: you give us a destination address, we store it, and mail sent to your alias is relayed there. We never sell it, and it is deleted when you release the alias.

Support tickets: Support tickets collect only what you choose to send: your message, an email address you may give us for the reply, and your device model and app version.

The information we collect is used solely to:

Provide the temporary email functionality

Maintain, update, and enhance our service

Monitor for abuse or unauthorized use

Generate anonymous usage analytics

Retention differs by feature. These are the real numbers, not aspirations:

Destination address — kept while the alias exists, deleted when you release the alias

Mail in a temporary inbox — cleared as mailboxes fill, usually within a day of arriving

Forwarded mail the relay could not deliver (held) — 7 days, then deleted

Mail for a lapsed alias (paused) — 30 days, then deleted; purged immediately when you release the alias

Forwarding counters (how many messages, never the sender or subject) — 30 days

A released alias name — 30 days, so a sender's systems see the bounce before anyone else can claim the name

Coin balance — while the app identity exists; deleted on request

Coin ledger entries — 365 days

Rewarded-ad records — 90 days

Google Play purchase token — while the subscription is valid plus 60 days

Server and web logs — 30 days, and we do not log destination addresses or verification links

Support tickets (your message, any reply address you give, device model and app version) — 180 days after their last update

Releasing an alias in the app stops its mail immediately (senders get a bounce), deletes the destination address and everything the alias held, and frees the name after 30 days.

Mail forwarding relays messages from an alias we host to an address you control, which makes it the part of this service that handles personal data. These providers process it for us:

OVH Cloud — hosts the API and database (your alias records, coin ledger and account identity)

Contabo — hosts the mail relay where aliases, held mail and short-lived logs live

Google Firebase — anonymous app identity and push notifications

Google AdMob — rewarded ads that earn coins; it receives an anonymous app identifier so the reward reaches your balance, never your alias or destination

Google Play — subscriptions and in-app purchases

Deletion on Request

Write to [email protected] from the address you can reach, tell us the alias (or the destination) you want forgotten, and we release the aliases and erase the identity's rows. We answer within 30 days. You can also delete any alias yourself in the app at any time, which stops its mail at once.

When you write to us from the app, we store the message you wrote, any email address you gave us for the reply, and your device model and app version. The ticket is tied to your app identity, so a reply can reach the right device.

Support tickets are kept for 180 days after their last update, then deleted.

Deletion on Request

To have your tickets deleted before then, write to [email protected] from the address you can reach — asking us to delete your data also erases every ticket you opened.

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this website. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or NAI Opt-Out.

Important: We do not sell personal data, but we may share anonymized data with advertising and analytics partners as described above.

A temporary inbox needs no request: closing it or clearing cookies erases it at once. Mail forwarding stores more — a destination address and a coin ledger — so those rights are honored on request, the way Mail Forwarding and Your Rights above describes, not automatically.

Instant Deletion

Delete your temporary emails immediately by closing the browser or clearing cookies

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. We may share anonymized, non-personally identifiable data with advertising and analytics partners, but this does not constitute a "sale" under CCPA.

California residents have the right to request information about data collection, request deletion of personal information, and opt-out of any sale (which we do not engage in). Contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights.

Age Restriction

This service is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected], and we will take steps to delete such information from our systems.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
